Hainan Baoting Open

ShangDa International Golf Club is invested and built by ShangDa Group. It is located at the southern foot of Wuzhishan Mountain in central Hainan Island and is located in the famous Qixianling Hot Spring Resort. The course is an international standard 18-hole golf course with a total length of 6838 yards. 

The design of the golf course cleverly combines the vegetation of the tropical monsoon climate with the course's unique mountainous and hilly topography. Both smooth and mountainous terrain are surrounded by rubber tree forests and coconut forests. The lakes, mountain streams and waterfalls are also intertwined with the elevation changes in the venue, making it very challenging and entertaining. The first nine swings provide a close view of the wonderland of Qixianling, while the last nine swings shuttle through the tropical rainforest, with a modern town nestled in the jungle far away, thus creating an extremely pleasant swing experience for golfers.

From the TEE platform, the Qixianling Hot Spring Mountain range sits on the left, a quiet and rippled lake sits in front, and a peninsula-shaped green can be seen at a distance ahead. The narrow fairways and wide waters of the 1^st hole are sure to make your golf trip to Qixianling a memorable one. The simple yet exquisite golf course has a panoramic view, with green courses, dense tropical rainforests and the fairyland-like Qixianling all in sight. 

Hole No. 6 is located at a commanding height and has an unobstructed view of the entire fairway. Although the fairway is wide and seemingly easy to navigate, the creek that runs across the fairway about 150 yards from the green and the eight surrounding bunkers will provide a challenge that you should not take lightly. 

The club is strategically located, adjacent to the Qixianling National Forest Hot Spring Tourist Area in Baoting, Hainan. It is about 5 kilometers away from Baoting County, about 60 minutes' drive from Sanya City, and 50 minutes' drive from Haitang Bay.
