CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Current Year: Started slowly at the First Global Qualifying Tournament and seemed hopelessly out of earning fully exempt status but then caught fire after his 75-76 (7-over) start. Fired a 5-under 67 to give himself a chance, tied for 17th through 54 holes. Secured his card for the season by shooting a 2-under 70, leaving him at even-par for the tournament...Earned the first top-10 of his PGA TOUR China career when he T8 at the Zhuhai Hengqin Phoenix Tree Open in mid November. Was even-par on the weekend at the wind-swept Orient G&CC (72-70), tying him with South Korea’s Rak Cho and Australia’s Jack Munro.
2015: He made one OneAsia Tour cut, a T35 at the Ballantine’s Taiwan Championship. He also tied for 42nd at the Asian Development Tour’s Taifong Open, also contested in Chinese Taipei.
2014: Played in two Asian Tour tournaments, missing the cut in both…Also missed playing on the weekend at his lone Japan Golf Tour appearance.
2013:At the Asian Development Tour’s ADT Chang Hwa Open, battled fellow Chinese Taipei player Chien Yao Hung throughout the event before finally settling on a runner-up finish—to Hung—after a 71-70 weekend left him three shots behind Hung’s winning score.
2013: Made two Asian Development Tour starts—both in his native Chinese Taipei. Best finish was a T35 at the Ballantine’s Taiwan Championship.
