CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

2015: Had a solid showing at the Tour’s season-opening Buick Open in Haikou. Was tied for 11th through 36 holes then moved into contention in the third round when he fired a 3-under 69. Shot a 5-under 31 on the front nine Saturday, including a three-hole, birdie-birdie-eagle stretch. Would have moved even higher except for a double bogey-7 on No. 12. Shot a final-round, even-par 72 to finish T4 with John Young Kim, Ze Cheng Dou and Yi Cao, four shots short of winner Josh Geary.

2014: Had a strong tournament at the Victorian PGA Championship. Shot rounds of 68-67-68-71 at Heritage G&CC’s St. John Course to finish solo third, two shots behind winner Gareth Paddison...Followed that tournament with a T10 result at the Queensland PGA Championship. At City GC in Toowoomba, struggled to a second-round 73 that kept him from contending with his first-round 64 and weekend rounds of 66-65...Earned his PGA TOUR China Series’ playing privileges by finishing T8 at the second Qualifying Tournament, at Mission Hills GC’s Sandbelt Trails Course...Made his Series’ debut, also at Mission Hills, shooting three under-par rounds over his final 54 holes to T20...First top-10 showing came at the Lanhai Open in early June. Finished at 5-under outside Shanghai to solo-ninth....Finished T36 at the Earls Beijing Open, thanks to an opening 68 and a closing, 3-under 69...In his next PGA TOUR China Series’ start, shot three-under-par rounds at the Yulongwan Yunnan Open to T32...The following week, was one shot off the 18-hole lead when he opened with a 3-under 69 at the Fiji International on the PGA Tour of Australasia. Went on to T54 at Natadola Bay Championship GC.

2013: On the OneAsia Tour, finished 26th at the GS Caltex Maekyung Open...Opened with a 69 on his way to a T30 at the SK Telecom Open...Shot a final-round 69 to T16 at the Queensland Open...Added a 51st-place performance at the Australian PGA Championship.

2012: Finished his PGA Tour of Australasia season No. 66 on the order of merit. Best finish on that circuit was a T18 at the Australian Open...Was T45 at the New Zealand PGA Pro-Am Championship...On the OneAsia Tour, was T12 at the Maekyung Open Golf Championship...Was also 26th at the Enjoy Jakarta Indonesia Open and 27th at the Thailand Open...Missed the cut at the Volvo China Open in April on the European Tour. 

2011: Ended the season No. 54 on the PGA Tour of Australasia order of merit, thanks to top-40 finishes at the Australian Open (T36), the Australian PGA Championship (T39) and the BMW New Zealand Open (T25)...Best outing of the year was a sixth-place finish at the Thailand Open. Shot a final-round 66 after opening with three consecutive 69s...Picked up a T7 at the Nanshan China Masters on the OneAsia Tour. 

2010: Made five Web.com Tour starts, missing the cut in all five...Best finish during the year was a T14 at the OneAsia Tour Midea China Classic...Added a T37 at the Kolon 53rd Korea Open.

2009: Went to the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament but finished 104th, after rounds of 79-73-70-70-72-71...Made two starts on the Web.com Tour, finishing T58 at the Moonah Classic and missing the cut at the HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship...Finished T37 at the Hero Honda Indian Open.

2008: Made the cut at the Australian Open (T57).

AMATEUR: Qualified for the 2007 U.S. Amateur, Western Amateur and British Amateur but didn’t make it to match play…Top finish was a 16th-place outing at the 2006 Players Amateur…Was runner-up, with Nicholas Thompson, at the Sunnehanna Amateur in a tournament that featured rounds of 65-69-68 over his final 54 holes. Made it into a playoff with Michael Sim and Thompson at Sunnehanna CC in Johnstown, Pa.

PERSONAL: Biggest thrill outside of golf is racing go karts…Favorite golf course played is The Olympic Club in San Francisco. Course he would most like to play is Pebble Beach GL. Never travels without his laptop computer…Favorite professional team is the Jacksonville Jaguars. Favorite TV show is “Seinfeld” and favorite movie is “Wedding Crashers.”…Says his favorite food is steak, enjoys watching Tiger Woods play golf, likes to fish and favorite city to visit is Paris, France. Favorite vacation spot is the Gold Coast in Australia…Would round out his dream foursome with Vince Vaughn, Ron White and Aron Price. Bucket list includes going sky diving…Charities supported include the Ponting Foundation.
