2021 China Tour Sanya Classic, Nanshan Classic Best Amateur player

2021

After the the Coronavirus pandemic, the China Tour opened the field to Top Amateur players. DING Wenyi, No 1 in CGA Amateur Ranking List obtain the eligibility of China Tour. At the first tournament of 2021, DING Shot 69-69-69-67, finished at T4 with 14 under in total.

One week after Sanya Open, DING shot 8 under at 3rd round and become the Club leader. In the Final round, DING Shot 5 under and win his first professional tournament champion. He is 2nd player who win China Tour as Amateur after JIN Cheng. In the champion speech, DING High light big support and company from his father. 

Moving to Nanshan Classic, DING shot 3 over after first round, which make him finish at T33 in all 88 players. In the Next 3 round, DING keep moving up, from T33 to T8 to T6 and finished at T5 as Best Amateur again.  

2020

DING has won lots of Amateur tournament in China at this year. In the October, DING played Volvo China Open. DING shoot 7 under at the 2nd round which make him come to the leader position with another famous Chinese professional player ZHANG Huilin. The media has put lots of attention to DING as a Amateur leader in Volvo China Open. DING finished at 2nd place in the end. 

2019

DING's first professional tournament show is at Shenzhou Peninsula Open in 2019, finished at T72. DING has won lots of big Amateur tournaments in this year as well. DING Wenyi is No 1 Amateur player in the end of year.
