2014: At the Mission Hills Haikou Open, finished T38 in his PGA TOUR China Series debut. Was 4-under on the weekend at Mission Hills GC…Second made cut of the campaign came at the United Investment Real Estate Wuhan Open, a solo-36th-place finish in mid-May…Finished T45 at the Earls Beijing Open in mid-June…Finished T43 at the OneAsia Tour’s Nanshan China Masters in mid-October…Closed his season with a T30 at the Hainan Open and a T27 at the Tour Championship presented by CTS Tycoon.
2013: Made his World Golf Championships debut, playing in the HSBC Champions. Fashioned rounds of 83-77-80-83 to finish 77th at Sheshan International GC in Shanghai…Finished T56 at the Nanshan China Masters…Opened with a 70 at the CS Caltex Maekyung Open on the OneAsia Tour in May and went on to a 70th-place performance…At the China Golf Cup in Beijing, had his first hole-in-one, making an ace at the par-3 third hole. Was 6-under for his first seven holes until a double bogey at the eighth hole gave him a 4-under 32 on the front nine. Shot a 66 and was the first-round leader. Finished second, three shots behind the winner, amateur Cheng Douze at Beijing California County GC.
2011: Was in position for a solid payday with a 72-69-71 for the first 54 holes at the Thailand Open. But a final-round 76 dropped him to a T61 with three other players.
2010: Made the cut in the season-opening Luxehills Chengdu Open on the OneAsia Tour but stumbled to a 72-75 finish on the weekend to T66…Came back from a third-round, 5-over 76 to shoot a 69 on the final day to T35 at the Midea China Classic.
2009: Missed the cut in the inaugural OneAsia Tour event, the Volvo China Open (15-over)…On the China Tour, finished T58 at the Sofitel Zhongshan IGC Open. A final-round 82 derailed his chance at a better finish.
2008: Opened his China Tour season with a T29 showing at the Sofitel Golf Championship in May…Recorded his first top-10 of the season, with a T8 at the Guangzhou Championship at Dragon Lake GC. Tied with ZXhi Feng Qiu, Hao Yuan, Wei Huang Wu, Dong Su and Xian Feng Wang…At the Dell Championship, was T36 and was able to move up the leaderboard with a final-round 71…Was T42 and T37 in his next two starts—at the Kunming Championship and the Shanghai Championship…Added a T28 at the Luxehills Golf Championship…Finished his season with a T43 at the Tianjin Championship.
2007: At the Sofitel Championship, stumbled to a final-day 76 to drop from contention. Finished seventh in the China Tour’s season-opening tournament…Finished solo-fourth at the Guangzhou tournament on the China Tour. Was a distant nine shots behind winner Zhang Lianwei…Two weeks later, contended at the Yanji Golf Championship at the Yanji Hailanhu River Golf Resort only to finish T2 with Zheng Wengen, four shots behind winner Li Chao…On the Asian Tour, fired an opening-round 68 before falling back over his final 54 holes to T62 in Shanghai.
2006: Finished fourth on the China Tour order of merit. Was T8 at the China Tour’s Sai Hainan tournament, the season-opening event at Kangle Garden Spa and GC…Played in the Shandong event at Shandong Asahi Treasure GC and finished T4…Made it to sudden-death at the Shanghai tournament in early September. Had the round of the tournament, a third-round 66, to vault into contention after a 74-72 start. Closed with a 2-under 70 to catch Zhang Lianwei but then lost in a playoff…Finished second again in his next start, at Kunming Country GC. Despite weekend rounds of 68-69 that left him at 4-under for the tournament, still ended well back of winner Li Chao’s 11-under posting.
2005: Best finish of the China Tour season was a third-place performance at the Sai Kunming tournament…Finished 16th at the Zhuhai event…Turned in a pair of T18 showings at the Sai Hainan tournament and the Tianjin Classic.
2004: Missed the cut at the Asian Tour’s Myanmar Open.
Amateur: Finished T3 at the 2002 Agile Yulong Snow Mountain tournament.
